Graduated from University Malaya 1993. Completed Master of Internal Medicine at University Malaya in 2001. Further training in Infectious Diseases under KKM and attachment at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia in 2003 to 2004. Has been involved in CPG Guidelines of Infective Endocarditis that published in 2017 and currently involved in Development of CPG Guidelines of Acute management of burn injuries. Currently Head of Medical Department at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Also "Timbalan Pengerusi II Jawatankuasa Kawalan Infeksi dan Antibiotik" at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and actively involved in Antibiotics Stewardship Programme at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Currently Visiting Infectious Diseases Consultant to National Heart Institute Malaysia. Also as adjunct lecturer of MAHSA University for Medical Faculty. Also involves in research in HIV Medication study, Aztreonam-avibactam for the treatment of serious infections caused by metallo-β-lactamase-producing gram Gram- negative pathogens (ASSEMBLE Trial), Incidence, Compliance, and Risk Factor Associated with Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI) in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Patients: A Multicenter Study in an Upper Middle Income Country etc. Middle-Income Country
