Prashini Moodley South Africa
Professor Prashini Moodley is honorary professor of medical microbiology at the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. With a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, she has made significant contributions to her field through numerous publications. Her research focuses on infection prevention and control, mechanisms of antibiotic resistance and the pathogenesis of infectious diseases.
As a clinical microbiologist, Prof Moodley specialises in managing infectious diseases, including wound infections, and implementing antibiotic stewardship programs in healthcare facilities.
