I was graduated as General Surgeon in 2002 and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in 2005.
Diploma in advance wound care and stoma by UNAM.
I have been dedicated to the care, education and investigation of advance wound care and stoma in my country and Latin America.
I’m an associate professor and part of the staff of the burn unit at “Centro Medico Nacional 20 de Noviembre” in the education of the residents in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Past president of AMCICHAC (Mexican association for wound and healing care) 2015-2017.
Member of the continental board for Latin America WUWHS 2016-2020
Head of international affairs for AMCICHAC (Mexican association for wound and healing care) 2017-currently
Member of the Journal of Wound Care editorial board (south America) 2017-currently
Member of the Journal of Wound Care LATAM editorial board 2020-currently
Multiple thesis advisor and publications in indexed journals.
Active member of different national and international associations of wound care and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
