Welcome Message From the Organising Chairperson
Dear family and friends, we meet again for yet another exciting roller coaster trip on wound management in the Asia Pacific region.
I take great pleasure and honour in inviting you to another great momentous global conference which will be held in Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from the 10th to the 12th of October 2025 with the theme of ‘Woundformers: Transforming Care Together’. This theme is truly amazing as we always preach a multidisciplinary team approach or comprehensive holistic approach to wound management. Therefore, the 7th Global Wound Conference will be the prelude to the World Union of Wound Healing Societies conference in 2026 in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The Silver Jubilee will be celebrated in Malaysia and I take pride as the 7th President of the World Union of Wound Healing Societies who has the responsibility and trust of the World to organise such a huge and memorable conference in Malaysian soil. We will begin all the plans for the World conference and we hope to showcase it to all of you in 2025 that ‘Malaysia Boleh’ or Malaysia Can.
Let’s collaborate and work together to make this conference a huge success. I truly hope that all health care professionals will be enlightened to the magnificent world of wound care. We have a wonderful programme with keynote lectures, plenaries, symposiums, regenerative and advanced masterclasses and interactive workshops.
Finally, please allow me to show my utmost gratitude to the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals MSWCP, the World Union of Wound Healing Societies, Ministry of Health Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Hospital and all the industrial sponsors and delegates.
Thank you so much.
Take care and God bless.
