Guido Ciprandi Italy

Guido Ciprandi is a pediatric plastic surgeon, MD and PhD, head of Pediatric Wound Care Surgical Centre, division of Plastic and Maxillofacial surgery, at Bambino Gesu’ children’s hospital in Rome, research Italy. He is Chief Research Officer for pediatric wound care, Adjunct Professor at University “La Sapienza” of Rome, founding President of ISPeW (international society for pediatric wound care) and Pediatric Masterclass. He is also trustee and member of the scientific committee in EPUAP (European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel). In 2020 he was the winner of the innovation award for the double protection strategy and in 2022 he won the EPUAP experienced investigator award in Prague. In 2024 he won the Aurora Award for Skin Substitutes Surgery in Reykjavik. Guido Ciprandi is part of the editorial board in Journal of Wound Care (JWC), International Wound Journal (IWJ) and Wound Masterclass Global (WMG).He’s Author of more than 200 peer reviewed scientific papers he has been also Executived Member for WUWHS.
