Zanariah Binti Hussein Malaysia

Dr. Zanariah Hussein is a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, currently the Head of Department of General Medicine, Hospital Putrajaya and Head of the Medical Endocrinology Unit, Endocrine Institute Hospital Putrajaya and Immediate Past Head of the Endocrinology Subspecialty Service of the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH). She is active in undergraduate, postgraduate and fellowship teaching and training. Her areas of clinical and research interest are diabetes and ramadan, diabetes technology, adrenal and neuroendocrine tumours. She is the Past President of the Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society (MEMS) 2016 - 2020. She is a member of the advisory boards for the National Diabetes Institute (NADI) and Malaysian Diabetes Educator Society (MDES). She has recently been elected as member of Malaysian Medical Council 2024 - 2027.
