Executive Board member of the Wound Healing Association of Southern Africa Executive Board member of Commonwealth Wound Care Resource Alliance Professional qualifications: Dip. Nursing RN RM (SAMHS Nursing College) PG Dip. in Nursing Administration (University of Stellenbosch), Cert. Wound Care (University of the Free State), IIWCC (University of Toronto). She has a profound passion and interest in wound care, particularly in the inter-professional approach and management of skin tears, pressure injury prevention surgical site infection, and diabetic foot ulcers. She recently started as Acting Assistant Director at 2 Military Hospital awaiting her appointment and continue to educate and support the Interdisciplinary members with wound care related care.
